Bonny Jane, the damsel.

I really disliked Bonny Jane as a damsel, her crying and need for help from the creepy monk made this tale seem like a bad horror movie. I know many people enjoyed this for its Gothic fantasy characteristics, but I could not enjoy the fantasy in this poem like others. I guess the poems I have liked that incorporated fantasy don't make it as obvious like Lewis did with the monk's "iron fangs."
