Dark and Twisty

There are parts of me that really love Lewis' work in "Bathwell's Bonny Jane" and then there are other parts of me that feel rather indifferent. I loved the overall message and content of the text because it reminded me a bit of Flannery O'Connor (Love her!), but I felt as though the language was a bit slow. I was bored with the wording of the text but the story was so good that I could not stop reading. I really kind of did not see the ending happening the way that it did.
